Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Your Kenyan safari begins with a morning pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Nairobi hotel or residence. Meet your professional driver-guide and travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a scenic viewpoint for photographs. Continue through Narok and arrive at Miti Mingi Eco Camp near the Maasai Mara in time for lunch and check-in. Later, depart for an exciting afternoon game drive across the reserve’s open plains, searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests and other wildlife. An optional Maasai village visit can be arranged at an additional cost. Return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve Full Game Drive

After breakfast, depart with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Explore its sweeping savannah, acacia-dotted plains and riverine areas while your driver-guide searches for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and abundant birdlife. Your route will be selected according to recent wildlife movements and road conditions. Enjoy lunch at a designated picnic site before continuing your afternoon game drive. During migration season, large wildebeest and zebra herds may be present, although wildlife locations and river crossings cannot be guaranteed. Return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out and depart the Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru. Travel through the beautiful Great Rift Valley, passing local towns, agricultural landscapes and rolling highlands. Lunch will be provided during the journey. Depending on weather conditions, you may enjoy distant views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha along the way. Arrive in Nakuru during the afternoon and check in at Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing after the journey before enjoying dinner and your overnight stay. Your Lake Nakuru National Park game drive will take place the following morning.
