Day 1

Your safari adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and underrated wildlife destinations. Known for its vast landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an incredible introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems, including open savannahs, swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River.

During your game drive, you may encounter large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and various antelope species. The park is also home to a rich variety of birdlife, making it a paradise for bird watchers. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park at a scenic spot, surrounded by nature. Later in the afternoon, you will continue exploring before heading to your lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills, Maasai villages, and endless landscapes. Upon entering Serengeti, your game drive begins immediately as you head toward your accommodation.

Serengeti is known for its endless plains and incredible wildlife density. You will have the chance to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. The journey itself becomes part of the safari experience as wildlife can be seen throughout the drive. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a camp inside or near Serengeti.

Today is dedicated to a full exploration of Serengeti National Park. You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across different regions of the park, increasing your chances of witnessing dramatic wildlife interactions. Depending on the season, you may experience parts of the Great Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular natural events.

Expect to see lions resting on rocks or hunting in the plains, cheetahs sprinting across the savannah, and elephants moving gracefully through the grasslands. The park is also rich in birdlife and offers endless photographic opportunities. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the wilderness. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a short game drive while exiting Serengeti. You will then travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The crater is one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations, offering a high concentration of animals in a compact area. You may see black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, buffaloes, and many more species. After the game drive and picnic lunch, you will ascend the crater and transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Bay Resort for dinner and overnight stay.
