Day 1

Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park

Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Entebbe, traveling through Uganda’s scenic countryside toward Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way, you will stop at the Equator for photos and a brief experience.
Upon arrival at the park, you will check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along the shores. After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Guided walk & transfer to kisoro

Guided walk & transfer to kisoro

After an early breakfast, head out for a guided walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, accompanied by an experienced ranger. This unique experience offers the chance to explore the park on foot and observe wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species at close range.
After the walk, return to the lodge for check-out and begin your scenic journey to Kisoro, located near Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Enjoy views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and local villages along the way.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking – Mgahinga

Gorilla Trekking – Mgahinga

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then be assigned to a gorilla family and begin your trek through the forest, guided by experienced rangers.
The trek can take anywhere from a few hours to most of the day, depending on the location of the gorillas. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat watching them feed, play, and interact.
After the experience, return to your lodge to relax and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime encounter. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, return to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for an exciting golden monkey trekking experience. Accompanied by a guide, you will hike through the bamboo forests in search of these rare and playful primates, known for their striking golden-orange fur and energetic movements.
After the trek, return to the lodge for check-out and begin your transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful lakes in Uganda, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with numerous islands.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to relax by the lakeside, take a canoe ride, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Return to Entebbe

Return to Entebbe

Later, begin your return journey to Entebbe, passing through Uganda’s scenic countryside with optional stopovers along the way for photos or local crafts.
You will arrive in the evening, marking the end of your memorable safari.
