Day 1

You will be picked up from the airport by our representative from Seresafari Africa you will then enjoy a comfortable transfer to your lodge in Arusha, a vibrant town nestled at the base of Mount Meru and known as the gateway to Tanzania's northern circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you will hopefully have time to relax at the lodge, enjoy the lodge amenities and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Busy Arusha is an essential part of safari life here in northern Tanzania and most travelers pass through at some stage.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your expert guide will collect you from your accommodation after breakfast. You will then drive to Tarangire National Park. This transit drive is approximately 2.5 hours on good tarmac roads. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The Park is well known for its elephant herds, which can often be seen clustering by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet. The huge and ancient Baobab trees.
Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the park. After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation in Karatu.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro highlands, known as a cooler region. When you first see Ngorongoro crater, it looks like forgotten world. Hidden by the steep volcanic walls is pristine wilderness including sweeping savannah, pockets of acacia woodland, and glistening lakes and swamps. A cater formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself three million years ago and it covers an area of 260-kilometer squares. The Crater is famous for both its geological delights and for being a natural reserve that is home to some of the densest large mammal populations in the whole of the Africa continent. After descending to crater floor you find yourself amongst large number of wildebeests, zebras and antelopes. The crater provides you with chance to see black rhino and enjoy picnic lunch on the crater floor. During the late afternoon start ascending crater and drive back to Arusha.

Day 4

Arusha National Park, then transfer to JRO for departure

On your final day, enjoy a memorable experience at Arusha National Park with packed lunch, a diverse and scenic park located just short drive from Arusha town. This day begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation, followed by a transfer to the park. Despite its smaller size, the park offers a rich variety of landscapes, including lush forests, open savannah, and the beautiful Momella Lake, often dotted with flamingos. You will enjoy guided game drives where you may encounter wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, and variety of primates including Colobus monkeys. Unlike many other parks in Tanzania.
Arusha National Park offers safari walking (optional), allowing you to explore nature up close with armed ranger. After the parking experience you will be transferred to JRO/ARK for departure.
