Samburu National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at Samburu Simba Lodge, you will travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, taking in breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley en route. On arrival and after lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive through the park’s varied terrain of acacia forest, rocky cliffs, and open savannah. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its rich birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans, and serves as a refuge for both black and white rhinos. You may also see Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and possibly lions or shy leopards.
