Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on your first game drive through the park’s central region, where wildlife gathers along the life-giving Tarangire River.
Expect to encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, hosting hundreds of species.

Exploring Greater Tarangire

After breakfast, set out for a full-day exploration of the greater Tarangire ecosystem. This day takes you beyond the main game routes into quieter, less-visited areas where wildlife roams freely with minimal disturbance. You’ll have the chance to witness large elephant families, herds of buffalo, and possibly elusive species such as cheetahs or wild dogs. Seasonal swamps and open savannah provide dramatic scenery and excellent photographic opportunities.
A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural surroundings.
Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, followed by dinner and storytelling around the campfire.
