Arusha to serengeti national park

After breakfast at your hot el, our driver will pick you up and drive you to Arusha Airport (ARK). Flightsare also available from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) but are more expensive. Arrival times vary accordingtowhich part of the Serengeti you are arriving at. Generally, the arrival time is around noon. Your safari
guide (who will have left the day before) will meet you at the airstrip and you will immediately proceed on a game drive. There will be a picnic-style lunch inside of the park and game viewing will continue until
late afternoon. At that time, you will be taken to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight rest.

The day is yours to use as you like between game viewing and enjoying your accommodations. Someof
the lodges/tented camps have plenty of wildlife roaming through the grounds (no, they arenot
fenced/walled), and with excellent amenities. It might not be a bad idea to have a morning game drive, spend the afternoon at the accommodation, then a short late afternoon game drive. But the choice is yours. Overnight will be at the same accommodation.

Would you get tired of these many days at one location? NO! Again, the day is yours to divide howeveryou like. It is your safari, so don’t be afraid to making your desires known to your guide. If you like, youcan experience an early morning balloon safari. You would be taken to the launch site before sunrise, gothrough a safety briefing and lift off as the sun is rising. The actual flying time is approximately onehour. The experience finishes with a sparkling wine (or juice) toast, and a full English breakfast in the wild. Thisoption adds $600/person to the price of the itinerary and must be booked in advance by SereSafari
Africa. This experience would be finished before 11am and you can go about your itinerary after that. Dinner and overnight rest will be at the same accommodation as the other nights.

You will have an early game drive in the park for a last minute wild viewing. Enjoy breakfast after breakfast your guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at the airport for your, which will mark the end of your Tanzania safari, we can arrange a day room at a hotel near the airport (extra charge).
