Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli

Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or residence in Nairobi, followed by a scenic drive south through the open savannah and traditional Maasai lands toward Amboseli National Park. Enjoy views of rural life along the way, with a brief stop for breakfast before continuing your journey beneath the towering presence of Mount Kilimanjaro.

You’ll arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for a delicious lunch, after which you can relax, freshen up, or take in the lodge’s serene surroundings and views of the park. In the late afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive, where you may encounter Amboseli’s famous elephant herds, along with zebras, giraffes, lions, and a variety of birdlife, all set against the backdrop of golden plains and distant mountain peaks.

As the sun sets, return to the lodge for a warm dinner and unwind under the African sky, enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the wilderness before settling in for your overnight stay.

Day 2

Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge before heading out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. The morning hours offer some of the best wildlife sightings, with a chance to see large elephant herds moving across the plains, often with the beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s open savannahs, acacia woodlands, and lush wetlands fed by underground springs. These areas attract a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, antelopes, and many bird species.

At midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at the Observation Point, one of the best scenic spots in Amboseli. From here, you can take in panoramic views of the park, the swamps, wildlife corridors, and the surrounding landscapes. After lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive as wildlife becomes active again toward the cooler hours of the day.

Later, return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Begin you day with an early breakfast at Amboseli Sopa Lodge before departing Amboseli for a scenic drive back through Nairobi and onward into the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy breathtaking viewpoints along the way as you descend toward Lake Naivasha.

Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Resort, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the lakeside setting. In the afternoon, head out for a tranquil boat ride across the lake, gliding past hippos and a variety of birdlife. Continue with a guided walking tour on Crescent Island, where you can stroll among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a unique, open environment.

Return to the resort in the evening for dinner and unwind in the peaceful atmosphere, ending the day with an overnight stay by the lake.

Day 4

Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

Naivasha to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a beautiful park located in the heart of the Rift Valley. The park is famous for its rhinos, birdlife, scenic lake views, and wooded landscapes.

Upon arrival, begin your game drive as you enter the park. Lake Nakuru offers excellent chances of seeing white rhinos and black rhinos, as well as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, baboons, waterbucks, and, if lucky, lions or leopards.

Arrive at your camp in time for lunch. After check in and some relaxation, continue exploring the park in the late afternoon. Visit viewpoints that offer panoramic views of the lake and surrounding escarpments. Depending on water levels and season, you may also see flamingos and other water birds along the lake shore.

Later, proceed to Egret Savannah Camp for dinner, and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley, local towns, and rolling countryside before reaching the vast savannahs of the Mara.

Arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for check-in and lunch, followed by a short rest.

In the afternoon, head out for your first Maasai Mara game drive. The Mara is one of Africa’s best wildlife destinations, known for its big cats, open plains, and rich concentration of wildlife. You may see lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, and many more.
