You will be assisted with luggage and transferred in a private vehicle to Moshi town at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive takes approximately 45–60 minutes, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscapes. On arrival, you will check in at your hotel and have time to relax and recover after your journey. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the lodge and receive a brief orientation about your upcoming Kilimanjaro day hike, including preparation tips and important details for the adventure ahead. This restful start ensures you are well prepared, comfortable, and ready to begin your unforgettable experience with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris.

Your Kilimanjaro day trip with Serengeti Wildlife Safaris begins with an early morning pick-up from Brubru Lodge, followed by a scenic drive to Marangu Gate on the eastern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you will complete registration formalities before beginning your guided trek through the lush tropical rainforest. The trail offers an incredible opportunity to experience the mountain’s rich biodiversity, with chances to see colobus monkeys, unique bird species, and towering ancient trees along the way. You will hike towards Mandara Hut at a relaxed pace, enjoying the fresh mountain air and stunning surroundings. A picnic lunch will be served en route or at the hut before you begin your descent back through the forest. After completing the trek, you will return to Marangu Gate and meet your driver for a comfortable transfer back to Arusha. Upon entry, you will begin an exciting game drive in an open-roof safari vehicle, exploring the park’s sweeping savannahs, seasonal riverbeds, and acacia woodlands.
