Your incredible day begins at 06:30 AM as you head out into the savannah at dawn with a packed breakfast to spot active leopards, lions, and cheetahs. Use the magnificent early morning light to track the iconic "Samburu Special Five" across the rugged desert plains.
At 11:00 AM, you return to your comfort camp as the sun hits its peak. Cool off with a refreshing dip in the lodge swimming pool, savor a fresh buffet lunch, and unwind peacefully in the shade. You set out again at 03:30 PM in your private, comfortable 4x4 Land Cruiser for an exciting riverbank game drive along the flowing Ewaso Ng'iro River. After an early breakfast, you will check out and drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the dramatic escarpment views. You will proceed past Nyahururu, with an optional stop at Thomson's Falls, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting game drive around the lake and its surrounding woodlands.
Lake Nakuru is a spectacular haven for diverse wildlife. You will explore the shores to spot hippos, waterbucks, and zebras, while searching the forests for leopards, lions, Rothschild's giraffes, and both black and white rhinos. Depending on seasonal water levels, you may even witness thousands of lesser flamingos tinting the shoreline pink.
