6:00 AM – Nairobi Hotel Pick-up & Departure: Meet your professional driver-guide at your Nairobi city hotel. Board your private 4x4 safari vehicle for an early departure. Travel north along the scenic Kenyan Northern Frontier District highway.

12:30 PM – Arrive in Samburu & Safari Lodge Check-in: Enter the wild and rugged landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. Check into your selected luxury tented camp or safari lodge. Savor a freshly prepared lunch followed by an afternoon relaxation session.

4:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the arid savannahs watered by the beautiful Ewaso Ng'iro River. Track rare wildlife species found only north of the equator. Look out for reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa oryx, gerenuks, and greater or lesser kudus.

6:30 PM – Drive back to your safari accommodation before dusk. Enjoy a warm dinner and a restful overnight stay in the wild.

Samburu National Reserve Full-Day Safari & Wildlife Tour

6:30 AM – Early Morning Set out at dawn with a packed breakfast to catch active predators. Witness the unique hunting dynamics of Samburu's wildlife as the day begins. Track the famous "Samburu Special Five" across the rugged northern terrain.
11:00 AM – Return to your luxury camp or lodge as the desert sun hits its peak. Cool off with a refreshing dive in the swimming pool. Savor a freshly prepared buffet lunch and unwind in the shade.
3:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive along Ewaso Ng'iro River: Head back out into the reserve as temperatures begin to drop. Drive along the riverbanks to spot elephants, leopards, and crocodiles drinking. Capture stunning golden-hour photographs of the dramatic arid landscape.
6:00 PM – Park Departure & Sunset Return: Exit the reserve gates before dusk. Arrive at your accommodation to refresh for the evening.
7:30 PM – Indulge in a delicious dinner prepared by on-site chefs. Enjoy your overnight stay at your Samburu safari lodge.

Final Day Itinerary & Departure

7:30 AM – Leisurely Breakfast & Lodge Checkout: Savor a final breakfast at your Samburu camp or lodge. Complete your checkout formalities with the front desk. Bid farewell to Kenya's beautiful northern frontier district.
8:30 AM – Relax on a comfortable scenic Highway Drive road trip heading south. Pass through changing landscapes near Mt. Kenya. Stop along the highway for an optional lunch (at your own expense).
2:30 PM – Arrive in Nairobi-Kenya's capital city safely by the early afternoon. Transfer directly back to your chosen Nairobi city hotel. Alternatively, enjoy a free transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight home.
