Full Day in Samburu Tracking the Unique special five

Dedicate a full, unhurried day to exploring the unique wildlife habitats of Samburu. This reserve is world-famous for its "Special Five"—rare species adapted to the semi-arid climate that you won't see in the Masai Mara: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk feeding on its hind legs. Embark on sunrise and sunset game drives when predators like lions, leopards, and wild dogs are most active. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the river or relax at your lodge during the midday heat. Return to camp for dinner under the stars.
