Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be warmly welcomed by our Williamson Adventures team. You’ll be transferred to your comfortable lodge in Arusha for an overnight stay. Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive from Arusha. Often referred to as Tanzania's "Elephant Paradise," Tarangire is famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse landscapes where you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, and more than 550 species of birds.

Pause for a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the park before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, journey through the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations.

As you enter the endless plains, your game drive begins immediately. Keep your camera ready as you search for lions resting beneath acacia trees, graceful giraffes, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests.

Depending on the season, you may witness part of the Great Migration, one of nature's most spectacular wildlife events.

Arrive at Moyo Tented Camp, where you'll enjoy warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, and an authentic safari atmosphere beneath Africa's star-filled skies.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the magnificent Serengeti.

Depart after an early breakfast with picnic lunches and spend the day discovering different regions of the park. Your experienced safari guide will use their knowledge and tracking skills to locate predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, and countless antelope species.

The Serengeti is also home to over 500 bird species, making it a paradise for bird enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Enjoy lunch in the heart of the African wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.

Return to camp as the sun sets across the plains for another relaxing evening around the camp.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, enjoy one final game drive through the Serengeti as you make your way toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend approximately 600 meters into the crater, one of the largest intact volcanic calderas in the world and home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife.

Spend several hours exploring this remarkable ecosystem while searching for the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. Other wildlife commonly seen includes elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and numerous bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the famous Hippo Pool before ascending the crater walls and continuing to Karatu.

Day 6

Lake Manyara to Zanzibar beach

Lake Manyara to Zanzibar beach

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania's most scenic parks, nestled beneath the dramatic Great Rift Valley Escarpment.

Although compact, the park offers incredible biodiversity. Explore lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, acacia woodlands, and the soda lake itself while searching for elephants, baboons, blue monkeys, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and the park's famous tree-climbing lions.

Lake Manyara is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with pelicans, storks, kingfishers, hornbills, and thousands of flamingos during the appropriate season.

After your game drive and picnic lunch, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your beach resort where the remainder of your day is free to relax beside the Indian Ocean.
