Day 1

Nairobi-Amboseli

You will be picked up from Nairobi in the morning and driven south through scenic Kenyan countryside to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, enjoy lunch, and relax before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. The open plains of Amboseli provide excellent wildlife viewing, especially large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions. Sunset photography with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop completes the day, followed by dinner and overnight at your lodge. Accommodation is at Sopa Lodge.

Day 2

Amboseli-Lake Naivasha

Amboseli-Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Naivasha. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge. The afternoon is free for optional activities, including a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to observe hippos, fish eagles, and other birds, or a guided walking safari on Crescent Island, where you can see giraffes, zebras, and antelopes up close. Enjoy dinner at your lodge and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru

Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru

You will go on an early morning game drive to Hell’s Gate National Park. This is the only park in Kenya where one can cycle or walk while seeing the animals. After the game drive, you will go back for breakfast and leave for Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch with a game drive en route to see leopards which are frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, you will leave for a game drive, and take a further drive to seek out the two species of rhino found there the black and white rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park is also known for many species of birds and thousands of flamingos.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive for lunch at your lodge or camp before embarking on your first Masai Mara game drive. The reserve is home to the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — along with abundant plains game and exceptional scenery. Enjoy an afternoon drive as the golden light of sunset illuminates the vast savannah. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
