Your safari begins at 8:00 am with a private pick-up from your Nairobi hotel. Today belongs entirely to the Maasai Mara. Rise before dawn and head straight into the reserve as the first light breaks over the savannah — this is when the Mara is at its most electric. Be welcomed into the boma by red-cloaked warriors, watch the iconic adumu jumping dance, step inside a traditional mud-and-thatch home, and browse the vibrant handcrafted jewellery and beadwork made by village women.
