Your safari begins in Nairobi where you are met by your driver-guide for a warm briefing before departing for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, with a scenic stop along the way to admire sweeping escarpment views and capture photos.

Continuing the journey, you pass through local towns and open countryside as you head deeper into Kenya’s wilderness. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp in Maasai Mara, you check in and enjoy lunch while taking in the sounds and sights of the savannah.

In the afternoon, you head out for your first introductory game drive in the reserve. This is your first chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly lions as you explore the golden plains of the Mara.

After an early breakfast, you check out from your camp in Maasai Mara and begin your scenic drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through the Great Rift Valley with beautiful landscapes and countryside views along the way.

You arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge. After a short rest, you head out for an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for its rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, and tree-climbing lions.
