1-Day Moremi Exploration

A full-day game drive in Moremi Game Reserve typically starts from Maun at dawn around 05:00 AM, and lasts approximately 12 hours. As the only officially protected area in the Okavango Delta, Moremi offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa.
Pick-up from Maun hotel or the airport, introduction and briefy before heading out for Moremi.

You will explore mopane woodlands, floodplains, and lagoons, specifically visiting hotspots like Xinii Lagoon, common sightings include elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species. Moremi is also a stronghold for the rare African wild dog. We provide a packed picnic breakfast and lunch, often served at a scenic spot within the reserve. Expect to arrive back in Maun between 05:00 PM and 07:00 PM, depending on the season.
