You’ll be picked up early in Nairobi and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, crossing the Equator into the Great Rift Valley. Home to the famous flamingo, the alkaline lake is one of Africa’s natural wonders. The park is also a protected sanctuary for both black rhinoceros and white rhinoceros. At times, nearly two million flamingos create a stunning pink shoreline. Arrive for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the reserve’s sweeping plains.

Enjoy a full day in the Masai Mara National Reserve with a flexible schedule and unlimited game-drive mileage. After breakfast, set out with packed lunch for an immersive day across the plains. The reserve is famed for its black-maned lion and abundant wildlife, and is one of the best places to spot the Big Five in a single day. Habituated cheetah are often seen resting near vehicles, offering exceptional viewing opportunities.
Bird enthusiasts will also be rewarded, with nearly 500 recorded species including eagle, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, and the impressive kori bustard—the heaviest flying bird—along with a variety of colorful sunbirds.

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve as you exit the reserve. After completing border formalities, continue on to Serengeti National Park. It’s a long drive, but the en-route game viewing in and out of the parks can be remarkably rewarding.
For a more comfortable experience, flying between the two parks is highly recommended, allowing more time on safari. Alternatively, you can extend your journey with a stop at Lake Victoria, located roughly halfway between the two destinations.

As you crest the hillside, the vast Serengeti National Park unfolds before you—its name meaning “endless plains” in Kiswahili. Spanning nearly 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km), it is home to over two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebra, and Thomson's gazelle. Predators such as lion, cheetah, and hyena thrive here, drawn by the abundance of prey. Smaller wildlife—from bat-eared fox to honey badger—and nearly 500 bird species also inhabit the ecosystem.
En route, you may choose to visit Olduvai Gorge, where Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey made groundbreaking discoveries about early human origins. Enjoy an afternoon game drive on your way to camp.

Start early and descend into the floor of Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular morning game drive in one of Africa’s most breathtaking settings. Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch near a hippo-filled lake, followed by a short game drive before ascending the crater walls and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Lake Manyara National Park (approximately 2 hours).
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos along the lakeshore. Game drives follow the lake’s edge, offering stunning views of giraffes and buffalos against a backdrop of shimmering water and open plains. Excellent photography opportunities abound, with optional walking and night safaris available. Dinner and overnight at your selected tented camp or lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch. Although only 205 sq. miles in size, this enchanting park is known for its scenic beauty and lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park also supports large populations of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, and impalas, as well as a famous Hippo Lake where hippos gather in large numbers. With over 400 bird species recorded, Lake Manyara is one of the best places to spot the ground hornbill and crested eagle.
In the afternoon, transfer to Amboseli National Park (approximately 5 hours). Amboseli is located south of Nairobi and is characterized by a dry, ancient lake bed, fragile grasslands, and patches of acacia woodland, with small volcanic hills in the southern region. Dinner and overnight at your selected tented camp or lodge.
