Day 1

You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport and depart Nairobi in the morning for Shaba National Reserve, located in Kenya’s northern circuit. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours, passing through scenic landscapes, small towns, and the foothills of Mount Kenya.
Arrive at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge in time for lunch, followed by some time to rest. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive at Samburu National Reserve exploring the rugged beauty of the Shaba–Samburu ecosystem. Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.

Day 2

Morning and Evening Game Drive

Morning and Evening Game Drive

After an early breakfast at Sarova Shaba, set out for a morning game drive in Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The reserve offers excellent wildlife viewing and is home to the famous Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation.

In the late afternoon, head out again for an evening game drive, exploring the reserve’s stunning landscapes and searching for elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species as the temperatures cool.
Return to Sarova Shaba Game Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at Sarova Shaba, depart Samburu National Reserve and drive south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 5-6 hrs drive. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy some lunch and relaxation at Sweetwater’s Serena. Ol Pejeta is a premier wildlife conservancy known for its remarkable conservation initiatives and diverse wildlife. Highlights include Baraka, the blind black rhino, the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, and the opportunity to see the last two northern white rhinos in the world. You can also enjoy game drives across the conservancy to spot elephants, lions, rhinos, and a wide variety of plains game.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos, rhinos, and diverse birdlife, as well as giraffes, buffalo, and lions. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, enjoying the serene surroundings of the park.

Check in, have lunch, and rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
