The Great Migration in Masai Mara

Upon pickup from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel, you will meet your professional safari guide and begin your journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley, you will arrive at your safari camp in time for lunch, ideally situated near the Mara River, where migration activity is often at its peak. After settling in and taking in the stunning surroundings, you will head out on your first afternoon game drive across the vast open plains.

The following two days are dedicated entirely to exploring the Masai Mara in search of dramatic river crossings, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, and thrilling predator action. Your guide will position you for the best wildlife viewing during morning and afternoon game drives, offering excellent chances to see lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, hyenas, and many other species across this extraordinary and world-famous ecosystem.

Fly in o the Heart of the Migration Action - The Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, you will transfer to a nearby airstrip for a scenic bush flight to the Isebania border. Following immigration and border formalities, you will continue on a second bush flight into Tanzania’s remote Northern Serengeti. Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari team and transferred to your luxury camp in time for lunch and relaxation before an afternoon game drive in this prime migration region.

The next day is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Northern Serengeti with a bush picnic lunch, allowing you to stay fully immersed in the migration experience. Follow vast herds of wildebeest and zebra as they cross the plains and rivers, while also enjoying excellent sightings of lions, elephants, and other wildlife in this remote ecosystem.

On your final day, enjoy a relaxed morning game drive or time at camp before your departure transfer, concluding your Great Migration safari adventure.
