Nairobi to the Foot of Kilimanjaro

Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, driving south toward the Tanzania border. Arrive at the lodge in time for a freshly prepared lunch. In the afternoon, head into the park for your first game drive to see massive elephant bulls and buffaloes grazing. As the sun sets, watch for the clouds to clear, revealing the majestic peak of Kilimanjaro. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Exploration of the Marshlands

Spend a full day traversing the park’s diverse landscapes. After an early breakfast, visit Observation Hill for a panoramic view of the swamps where hippos and hundreds of bird species congregate. Your guide will track lions, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas across the open plains. You can enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild or return to the lodge for a midday rest. An optional visit to a local Maasai village is available at an extra cost, offering a deep dive into local traditions.

Wildlife Tracking and Scenic Vistas

This day is dedicated to finding the park's more elusive inhabitants. Head toward the dry lake bed of Lake Amboseli, where shimmering mirages often dance on the horizon. Search for giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests that migrate between the swamps and the woodlands. After a picnic lunch, explore the acacia forests in search of leopards. Return to the camp for a final safari dinner by the campfire, sharing stories of the day's sightings with fellow travelers while enjoying the view of the mountain.

Final Sunrise drive and return to Nairobi

Wake up early for one last sunrise game drive, catching the elephants as they move toward the swamps for their morning drink. After a final breakfast at the camp, begin your journey back to Nairobi. During the drive, you will have a stop for lunch along the road at your own cost while taking in the views of the Athi Plains. Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon for a drop-off at your hotel or the airport. Post-safari airport transfers are available as an optional for an extra cost.
