Arrival and drive to Tarangire national park

Arrive in Arusha, where you will be welcomed by your guide and briefed on your safari adventure. After a short rest, depart for Tarangire National Park, and less-crowded park famous for its ancient baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Maasai steppe and arrive in time for an exciting game drive, where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of birdlife along the Tarangire River.

After the game drive, continue to the nearby town of Karatu for dinner and relaxation at Eileen’s Trees Inn. Surrounded by lush gardens and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers a perfect place to unwind after your first day of safari before preparing for the next adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater Exploration & Return to Arusha

After breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this UNESCO-listed caldera for a half-day game drive. The crater floor is rich in wildlife, offering chances to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and even the rare black rhino, all within a stunning natural setting. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls in the afternoon.
Later, drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Outpost Lodge, where you can relax after an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing.
