Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup by our professional driver-guide. Depart the city and drive south through the Athi plains and open Maasai countryside, where vast savannahs stretch endlessly and traditional homesteads dot the landscape. As you continue, the scenery opens up and, on clear days, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro appears in the distance.

Arrive at your lodge in Amboseli in time for lunch and check-in. Take time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings with views of the park and wilderness.

In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic Kilimanjaro backdrop. Explore open plains and swamp areas fed by underground springs, where elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, and cheetahs can be seen.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge before heading out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. The morning hours are ideal for wildlife viewing as animals are most active, especially large elephant herds moving gracefully across the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro standing tall in the background.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse ecosystems, from open savannahs and acacia woodlands to lush green swamps fed by underground springs. These habitats support a rich variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, hippos, antelopes, and a wide range of bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at Observation Hill, one of the park’s best viewpoints, offering sweeping panoramic views of the entire ecosystem, including swamps, wildlife corridors, and distant horizons. After lunch, continue with your afternoon game drive as the light softens and wildlife becomes more active again.

Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart Amboseli National Park and begin your journey North through Nairobi and into the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy scenic views along the way as the landscape shifts from vast savannahs to escarpments, farmlands, and volcanic formations that define this region.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge set along the peaceful lakeshore. After a short rest, head out for a relaxing boat ride on the lake, where you may encounter hippos surfacing in the water and a variety of bird species including fish eagles and kingfishers. Continue with a walking safari at Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a safe, open environment surrounded by nature.

Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, travelling deeper into the Great Rift Valley with scenic views of escarpments, farmlands, and volcanic hills along the way. Enter the park with a game drive en route, beginning your exploration through acacia woodlands, open grasslands, and lakeshore habitats.

Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhino sanctuary and offers excellent chances of spotting both white and black rhinos, as well as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, baboons, waterbucks, and, if lucky, lions or leopards.

Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and check-in. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive, visiting scenic viewpoints overlooking the lake and surrounding escarpments. Depending on the season, you may see flamingos and other water birds along the shoreline.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
