Guests will be picked up from Maun Airport by our guide, Fred, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle. Transport from Maun Airport to Borro Boat Station in the Okavango Delta with our Game Viewer, Arrive in the heart of the Okavango and transfer toward the waterways surrounding Chiefs Island. Your journey begins with a warm welcome at camp, set close to the water’s edge. In the afternoon, enjoy your first motorized boat safari, cruising through winding channels and open lagoons. Hippos surface beside you, crocodiles rest on sandbanks, and elephants often wade across shallow channels at sunset.

Guests will start their morning with a light breakfast and continue on a walking safari, Returning to camp, guests will enjoy brunch and spend a full day exploring Chiefs Island. Cruises take you deeper into the Delta’s labyrinth of channels, where birdlife is exceptional fish eagles, herons, kingfishers, and storks fill the skies. Elephants and buffalo are frequently seen moving between islands, especially in the dry season. The experience is slow, immersive, and constantly shifting with the water.

Transfer to Khwai – From Water to Wilderness
After breakfast, guests check out and are transferred to Khwai Concession, where the landscape transforms into a mosaic of floodplains, forests, and open savannah. Arrive at your mobile safari camp and settle in before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Khwai is known for its high wildlife density, especially elephants, wild dogs, lions, and leopards.

Guests will start their morning with a light breakfast, guest will have a full day of exploring Khwai on game drives and optional walking safaris (conditions permitting). Early morning and late afternoon drives offer the best wildlife activity, with predator sightings often being a highlight.
