Day 1

Chief's Island – Into the Heart of the Delta

Guests will be picked up from Maun Airport by our guide Fred, who will assist with your luggage and escort you to the transfer vehicle. Transport continues from Maun Airport to Boro Boat Station in the Okavango Delta by game viewer before transferring toward the waterways surrounding Chief’s Island.

Upon arrival, guests settle into spacious tents measuring 3x3 meters or larger, furnished with beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. This will serve as their campsite while in the area, providing a comfortable and relaxed base in the wilderness. Throughout the stay, camp staff handle all camp chores, including setup, meals, and cleaning, ensuring a seamless safari experience.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first motorized boat safari, cruising through winding channels and open lagoons where hippos surface beside you, crocodiles rest on sandbanks, and elephants often wade through shallow channels at sunset.

Day 2

Guests will start their morning with a light breakfast before continuing on a guided walking safari. Returning to camp, guests will enjoy brunch and spend the day exploring Chief's Island. Cruises take you deeper into the Delta’s labyrinth of channels, where birdlife is exceptional - fish eagles, herons, and storks fill the skies. Elephants and buffalo are frequently seen moving between islands, especially during the Dry season. The experience is slow, immersive, and constantly shaped by the water.

In the late afternoon, guests head out on another cruise to enjoy the changing light over the Delta and further wildlife-viewing opportunities. As the sun sets, return to camp for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening under the stars, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Okavango wilderness.

Day 3

Guests will start their morning with a light breakfast before setting out for another full day on the water, exploring the winding channels of the Okavango Delta by boat. This extended excursion allows guests to follow wildlife movement through different parts of the Delta while discovering quieter, less-traveled waterways rich in birdlife and aquatic activity. Along the journey, there may be opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the banks, and a variety of seasonal wildlife drawn to the water.

Stopovers on secluded islands offer guests the chance to step off the boat, stretch their legs, and fully appreciate the Delta's stillness and untouched beauty. The pace of the day remains calm and unhurried.

Returning to camp later, guests can relax and reflect on another peaceful and immersive Delta experience. Dinner is served in camp, followed by a relaxed evening around the campfire, sharing stories beneath the stars and the sounds of the surrounding wilderness.

Transfer to Moremi Game Reserve – From Water to Wilderness

After an early breakfast at camp, the safari continues into the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, one of Africa’s most diverse and wildlife-rich wilderness areas. The transfer itself forms part of the adventure, offering excellent opportunities for game viewing along the way. Keep an eye out for elephants, predators, and an abundance of birdlife as you travel through changing landscapes.

For the remainder of the tour, guests will be based at this campsite, exploring the surrounding wilderness and abundant wildlife. Accommodation is in spacious en-suite canvas tents with comfortable beds and private verandas, while our dedicated camp team takes care of all camp duties to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Upon arrival in Moremi, there will be time to settle into camp before heading out on an afternoon game drive to explore this wildlife-rich reserve. As the day draws to a close, return to camp for a delicious dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Guests will start their morning with a light breakfast before heading out on a guided morning game drive in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve. The early hours are particularly rewarding, as wildlife is most active during the cooler parts of the day, offering opportunities to encounter elephants, buffalo, and a variety of predators.

After the morning activity, guests return to camp to relax and enjoy freshly prepared meals while taking in the tranquility of the surrounding wilderness. During the day, guests will enjoy a guided walking safari, offering a unique perspective on the bush and its smaller details that are often missed from a vehicle.

In the late afternoon, another game drive explores Moremi’s diverse habitats, from mopane woodlands and floodplains to open grasslands, where sightings of lions, leopards, hyenas, and other wildlife are possible.

As evening falls, guests return to camp for dinner and a relaxing night around the fire beneath the African sky.
