You’ll be collected from your hotel or airport and begin your journey by road to Tsavo East National Park. Arriving in time for lunch, you’ll later head out for an evening game drive. One of Africa’s most memorable sights is the red-dusted elephants bathing and playing in the deep blue waters of the palm-lined Galana River. Together with the 300-kilometer Yatta Plateau—the world’s longest lava flow—Tsavo East offers a truly unique safari experience. Kenya’s largest protected park is home to abundant wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudus, gerenuks, and over 500 bird species.
