Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha at around 08:00 AM, you will begin your safari adventure with a drive of approximately 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and underrated wildlife destinations. The journey offers scenic views of local villages, farmland, and rolling savannah landscapes before entering the park.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic ancient baobab trees, and rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a full-day game drive exploring different areas of the park in search of lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and other species. The Tarangire River is a vital water source that attracts large concentrations of wildlife, especially during the dry season, making it an excellent location for game viewing.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a designated scenic site, allowing you to relax while immersed in nature. In the late afternoon, you will drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
