After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park for an exciting full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife destinations. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and abundant wildlife that gathers around the Tarangire River throughout the year. After breakfast at the campsite near Mto wa mbu, continue your safari journey through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park. Wildlife viewing begins before entering Serengeti as you may encounter zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, elephants, and many bird species along the route. Upon arrival in Serengeti National Park, enjoy an afternoon game drive in one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations, home to the Great Migration and abundant predators including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Continue exploring the endless plains and diverse wildlife habitats before arriving at Seronera Public Campsite for dinner and overnight stay. After an early breakfast at the campsite, depart Serengeti National Park and continue toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a spectacular game drive inside the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into the crater floor, one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible concentration of animals and breathtaking scenery. The crater offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhino. Other wildlife commonly seen includes zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, hippos, jackals, and a wide variety of bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while surrounded by the beautiful crater landscape before continuing the drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, guests will be dropped off at the hotel, airport, or another preferred location, marking the end of the safari adventure.
