After the visit, drive toward northern Rwanda through the country’s beautiful rolling hills. Upon arrival in Musanze, enjoy a cultural village experience where you can discover local traditions, dance, and community life.
Continue with a visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, a modern conservation center dedicated to gorilla protection and research.

After an early breakfast, head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your golden monkey trekking experience.
Track these playful and rare primates through the bamboo forest while enjoying views of the Virunga Mountains.
After the trek, drive across the border into Uganda and continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali
Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali
Early morning breakfast followed by transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Enter the rainforest with experienced guides in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once found, spend one unforgettable hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat before returning from the trek.
After lunch, begin the drive back to Kigali with drop-off at Kigali International Airport or your hotel.
