After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out at around 09:00 AM and begin the day with a visit to the deeply moving Kigali Genocide Memorial. This important experience offers a powerful insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and remarkable journey of reconciliation and rebuilding. The memorial is emotional, educational, and inspiring, giving visitors a deeper connection to the country and its people.
After the visit, continue with a scenic transfer to Volcanoes National Park, enjoying beautiful views of Rwanda’s rolling hills, local villages, and countryside landscapes. En route, enjoy lunch at Sooko Restaurant before visiting the remarkable The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund campus, a world-class conservation center dedicated to protecting mountain gorillas and inspiring future generations through research, education, and sustainability. Day 3

Mountain Gorilla Trek - Volcanoes National Park
Today, experience a trek to be up close and personal with the rare mountain gorillas. There are only around 1063 of these magnificent creatures left in the world with 1/3 in the Volcanoes National Park.
After an early breakfast, you will be met and transferred to the park headquarters for check-in. Here you will be educated about the trek, gorilla behavior and divided into groups of suitable fitness. The trek can take between 2-6 hours depending on the movements of the animals. This is considered one of the great natural animals encounters on the planet.
The rangers/trackers will lead you deep into the forest, which will take you up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures. After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and freshen up and relax with the accommodation facilities as you swap stories from your Gorilla adventure.

After breakfast, you will depart Volcanoes National Park and drive back to Kigali for your transfer to Kigali International Airport, where you will board your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), marking the beginning of your Tanzanian safari adventure. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your dedicated Nature in Spirit driver-guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey. Enjoy a scenic 1 hour and 30-minute drive to Arusha, with possible views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro if weather conditions allow. Along the way, experience Tanzania’s vibrant local life, colorful villages, and beautiful landscapes. Your guide will gladly stop for photos or questions whenever desired. Upon arrival in Arusha, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening and overnight stay, preparing for the exciting safari days ahead.

After breakfast, meet your private safari guide for a relaxed briefing before departing at around 08:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, a scenic two-hour drive through Maasai villages, open plains, and beautiful countryside. Arriving around 10:30 AM, your safari begins immediately as you explore one of Tanzania’s most rewarding dry-season parks, famous for giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, rich birdlife, and excellent predator sightings around the Tarangire River. Enjoy a private game drive at a relaxed pace with plenty of opportunities for photography and wildlife observation before continuing to your camp inside the park for a hot lunch and short rest. In the afternoon, head out again for extended game viewing until sunset, followed by a private sundowner experience in the bush. Return to camp for dinner and overnight surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness beneath a spectacular star-filled sky.

After returning to camp for breakfast, continue towards Lake Manyara National Park with a beautifully prepared safari hamper lunch. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Later, experience the thrilling canopy nature walk suspended among the treetops before continuing to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Your morning will be enhanced by a scenic bush breakfast in the wilderness.
