Nairobi to the foot of Kilimanjaro, Welcome to Amboseli National Park
Your East African adventure begins at 6:00 AM, when your private driver-guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel and set off southward toward the Kenyan-Tanzanian border.
Your destination is Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most celebrated and iconic wildlife destinations. Nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, Amboseli’s wide-open plains provide the perfect stage for one of nature’s great spectacles: immense elephant herds moving unhurriedly across the savannah as Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit rises behind them.
You'll spend the full day inside the park, immersed in the extraordinary Amboseli ecosystem. Lunch is served at the lodge, and the afternoon game drives continue as your guide navigates the park's open grasslands and swampy areas.
