After an early breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, your professional guide picks you up for the scenic drive south to Amboseli National Park (approx. 4.5–5 hrs via Emali and Kimana). En route, enjoy distant views of the Chyulu Hills and dry savannah landscapes. Spend a full day exploring Amboseli's contrasting landscapes — open grasslands, ancient swamps, and dust flats. Depart Amboseli after breakfast and drive north through Nairobi (brief stop if needed) and on through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park (approx. 5–6 hrs total). The drive offers sweeping Rift Valley scenery with views of Mt. Longonot and distant escarpments. Arrive in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

A full day to explore one of Kenya's most celebrated parks. Lake Nakuru is world-famous for its vast flamingo flocks that turn the lake shore pink, alongside a rich diversity of over 450 bird species. The park is also a protected sanctuary for the endangered white rhino and black rhino. Spend the morning and afternoon on game drives spotting Cape buffalo, waterbuck, baboon, and lion. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. The forested hills above the lake are prime leopard territory.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive south on the scenic Rift Valley road to Lake Naivasha (approx. 1.5 hrs). Check in to your lakeside camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the tranquil freshwater lake, spotting hippo pods and a remarkable array of waterbirds including African fish eagle, kingfishers, pelicans, and herons. You may also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari amongst zebra and giraffe — one of the few places in Kenya you can walk freely among wildlife. (The boat ride is optional and at an extra cost).
