On the first day of your classic safari, your driver will meet you at the airport or the Nairobi Hotel and provide a brief overview of the entire safari. Then, you'll embark on your journey to Amboseli National Park, which is approximately a 3-4 hour drive.
You'll arrive in time for check-in and have lunch. You can catch a siesta or freshen up, then head to an afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. In Amboseli, you'll have the opportunity to spot lions and cheetahs gracefully navigating their natural habitat. You'll witness the awe-inspiring sight of large herds of elephants making their way across the plains, often coming surprisingly close to your vehicle.
As the sun sets, you will return to your cozy camp, where you can unwind, enjoy a hearty dinner, and reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the day before settling in for a restful night.

After a delightful breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and embark on a full-day exhilarating adventure to the breathtaking plains of Amboseli.
In Amboseli, you'll have the opportunity to spot lions and cheetahs gracefully navigating their natural habitat. You'll witness the awe-inspiring sight of large herds of elephants making their way across the plains, often coming surprisingly close to your vehicle. As you explore, you'll have the opportunity to observe over 80 mammal species and more than 400 bird species, each adding to the vibrant tapestry of life in Amboseli.
Our game drive will lead you to the picturesque Observation Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the park and its diverse landscapes while you have a delicious picnic lunch.
As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge, where you can unwind, enjoy a hearty dinner, and reflect on the unforgettable experiences of the day before settling in for a restful night.

Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast, check out, and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You'll stop in Lake Naivasha for a sumptuous lunch ( save more time for a game drive in Lake Nakuru) and later enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru.
Lake Nakuru National Park is renowned for its diverse wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. You can expect to see black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, and hippos inhabiting euphorbia forests, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, and rocky escarpments surrounding a shallow, alkaline lake. The park offers some of the best wildlife viewing opportunities in Kenya. Notably, you will have the chance to observe Rothschild's giraffes, a rare and endangered species that was introduced to the park in 1997.
In the evening, you will check in at the lodge, enjoy dinner, and spend the night at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 4-6
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, begin your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. As you leave the Rift Valley behind, the landscape opens into the sweeping savannahs that define this legendary wildlife haven. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, and a chance to settle in before heading out for your first game drive across the golden plains of the Mara.
Over the next days, enjoy immersive game drives through one of Africa’s most spectacular ecosystems. The Masai Mara is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including frequent sightings of the Big Five. Drive along open grasslands and acacia-dotted hills, where every turn reveals elephants, lions, cheetahs, or herds of wildebeest. The Mara’s riverbanks also offer thrilling moments, from hippos in the water to crocodiles basking nearby. Each drive delivers unforgettable scenes of life in the wild, framed by stunning skies and the vast, untamed landscape.

Day 7-9
Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park
Masai Mara National Reserve to Serengeti National Park
You will enjoy an early-morning breakfast, then check out with lunch boxes. Then, you'll proceed to the Tanzanian border post at Isebania. After a 2-3-hour drive, you'll complete immigration procedures and continue into Tanzania. After lunch near the border, enjoy a 2- to 3-hour drive through the wilderness into the Serengeti, with a game drive en route to your tented lodge, arriving in time for a delicious dinner. As the sun begins to set, the Serengeti reveals its dramatic beauty and abundant wildlife — this is classic Africa at its finest.
Over the next 2 days, embark on both morning and afternoon game drives across the vast Serengeti plains. This park is renowned for its seemingly endless horizon, predator-prey interactions, and the annual migration of wildebeests and zebras. Optional activities mirror those in the Mara: a visit to a Maasai village or a hot-air balloon safari, if you missed them earlier. Back at camp, enjoy fireside dinners under the stars.

Day 10
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you'll enjoy an en route game drive in Serengeti and later drive to Ngorongoro Conservation and descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view the game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor.
The bottom of the crater, dotted with watering holes, shelters almost 30,000 animals in an area naturally enclosed by the volcano's slopes. You will find the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, surrounded by very steep walls that rise 610 meters from the floor. It is considered one of the natural world's wonders and a veritable wildlife haven. Spectacular animal life can be observed year-round, thanks to the year-round availability of grass and water.
You will have a picnic lunch near the crater's hippo Pool.
Later, you will ascend and arrive at your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You will start your day with breakfast and then check out. On your way to Arusha, you will visit the Mto Wa Mbu village, which offers a unique experience for visitors. The town is home to around 120 cultural groups, making it a vibrant melting pot of Tanzania's most exotic languages and customs. Spending time in the village will be a delightful break from your safari activities in the heart of the Northern Safari Circuit.
Later in the afternoon, we will drop you off at Arusha Airport.
