Nairobi - Masai Mara

Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport. The safari can start the same day if time permits. Alternatively, be picked up from your hotel after breakfast. You will be transferred to the departure point to finalize the itinerary and be introduced to your guide. Depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint at the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time for lunch.

In the late afternoon, we will take a nature walk in the Masai Mara, offering an intimate bush experience. Led by local Maasai guides, this immersive tour focuses on tracking wildlife that might be seen, identifying medicinal plants, and exploring the ecosystem’s finer details. The walk includes a scenic visit to the Ololaimutiek View Hill to enjoy views of the Mara and the sunset, providing a low-impact way to stretch your legs away from safari vehicles.

Alternatively, you may join another group for an evening game drive. Please note that this option will require an additional park entrance fee.

Masai Mara full day

You will have a full-day game drive. You will leave the camp/lodge with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, keeping an eye out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight are at the camp.

Masai Mara - Maasai Village - Lake Nakuru

After enjoying breakfast in the camp, your guide will pick you up and take you to the Maasai village for a cultural tour (at an additional cost). We’ll then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Lake Nakuru - Amboseli

After an early breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, well known for its diverse bird species and other wildlife. It is also home to the black and white rhinoceros. The park has also been established to protect endangered species such as the rhino and is home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelope. Later on, with your lunch on the way, depart to Amboseli. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Amboseli

Spend the day on game drives in this park, which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, as can Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak, if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
