Day 1

Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park

Your safari adventure begins with collection from your beach hotel or Moi International Airport before departing inland towards Tsavo West National Park.

Known for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, lava flows, natural springs, and rich wildlife, Tsavo West offers one of Kenya’s most scenic safari environments. Enjoy an enroute game drive as you enter the park, with opportunities to spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope, and predators moving through the bush.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch before heading back out on an afternoon game drive across the park’s rugged terrain and open plains.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, continue towards Amboseli National Park, travelling through changing landscapes towards the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Amboseli is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations and is famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, seasonal wetlands, and spectacular views of Africa’s highest mountain.

Enjoy an enroute game drive before arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out on another game drive in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife found throughout the park.

As the sun sets beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives through its vast open plains and wetland ecosystems.

Amboseli is internationally recognised for its incredible elephant encounters, including some of Africa’s famous big tuskers. The park’s swamps attract large concentrations of wildlife year-round, creating excellent opportunities for photography and game viewing.

Against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, search for lion, hyena, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, Maasai giraffe, and abundant birdlife while experiencing one of Kenya’s most iconic safari landscapes.

Return to the lodge in the evening to relax and enjoy dinner beneath the African sky.

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and travel towards Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park and home to the famous red elephants of Tsavo.

Arrive in time for lunch before enjoying an afternoon game drive through the park’s open savannahs, river systems, and acacia woodland. Tsavo East is known for its dramatic landscapes, large elephant populations, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and diverse birdlife.

The park’s vast wilderness creates a true sense of remote African safari adventure as you explore one of Kenya’s oldest protected wildlife areas.

Tsavo East National Park – Departure

Begin the day with an early morning game drive, one of the best times to experience the African bush as predators return from the hunt and wildlife becomes active across the plains.

After breakfast, check out and depart with picnic lunch boxes before transferring to the train station for your onward journey to Mombasa.

Upon arrival at the Mombasa SGR Terminus, transfer back to your beach hotel for your onward arrangements.
