Day 2

After an early breakfast, you will head to the Mabamba Swamp for an exciting canoe excursion in search of the rare shoebill stork, one of Africa’s most iconic and sought-after bird species
After the Mabamba swamp experience, you will continue your journey north towards Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an unforgettable rhino trekking experience on foot. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will track white rhinos in their natural habitat. This experience completes Uganda’s Big Five safari encounters
After lunch, you will then proceed with your scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Upon arrival in the evening, you will then visit the spectacular Top of the Falls, where the mighty River Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging dramatically into the river below, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. Later, you will check in at your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a thrilling morning game drive in Murchison Falls Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. The drive takes you across vast savannah plains where you will search for a variety of wildlife including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, Uganda kob, waterbucks, and warthogs. The park is also home to a rich birdlife, making it a rewarding experience for nature lovers and photographers
You will explore different wildlife zones of the park, enjoying views of open grasslands, riverine forests, and the Albert Nile region. Your guide will help you spot animals and explain their behavior and ecosystem
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of Murchison Falls.
As the boat approaches the falls, you will then witness the powerful force of the Nile as it crashes through a narrow gorge, creating one of the most dramatic waterfalls in Africa. After, return to your lodge.

After breakfast, you will depart from Murchison Falls Park and begin your scenic journey to Kibale Forest Park in western Uganda. The drive takes you through beautiful countryside landscapes, passing rolling hills, traditional villages, and vast tea plantations that showcase the natural beauty of the Pearl of Africa.
Along the way, you will enjoy changing scenery as the savannah gradually transforms into lush green highlands and dense tropical vegetation. This region is known for its breathtaking views, crater lakes, and fertile landscapes, offering excellent photography opportunities.
Kibale Forest National Park is famously known as the primate capital of the world and is home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys, along with over 70 mammal species.
Upon arrival, you will then check in at your lodge and relax in the peaceful forest environment. The evening is at leisure as you prepare for tomorrow.

The trek offers a thrilling opportunity to observe these intelligent primates as they feed, groom, communicate, and move through the forest canopy

After an early breakfast, you will set out for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth Park, one of Uganda’s most popular safari destinations. The park is home to a wide range of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hyenas, Uganda kob, warthogs, and various antelope species. The drive through the savannah plains offers opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.
Later in the day, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This channel is famous for having one of big numbers of hippos in Africa, along with large Nile crocodiles and more birdlife such as pelicans, kingfishers, and fish eagles. Elephants and buffaloes are often seen along the shores.
After the boat cruise, you will continue your journey through the Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions resting in large fig trees. You will then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Park, arriving in the evening for your overnight stay.

The trek may involve hiking through steep and muddy terrain, but the reward is a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
Once you locate the gorillas, you will spend a magical hour observing them as they feed, groom, play, and interact within their family groups. This intimate wildlife experience is one of the most powerful highlights of any African safari.
After the trek, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful and deepest lakes, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with small islands. Upon arrival, you will relax at your mid-range lodge, enjoy the peaceful scenery, and unwind after your gorilla trekking adventure.

After breakfast at Lake Bunyonyi, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe. The drive takes you through Uganda’s breathtaking countryside, with rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and rural landscapes that showcase the charm of the Pearl of Africa.
Along the way, you will make a stop at the Uganda Equator line for photography, souvenir shopping, and a demonstration of the geographical location where the northern and southern hemispheres meet. This is a memorable highlight and a perfect opportunity to capture final safari memories.
You will continue your drive through vibrant towns and scenic valleys, enjoying views of Uganda’s natural beauty one last time. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred directly to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
