Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi heading northwest through the dramatic Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you can stop at a viewpoint for panoramic views and photos before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park.

After lunch and check-in at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park, which is famous for its rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, flamingos, buffaloes, and occasional leopard sightings. After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at a lakeside lodge. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on the lake where you may spot hippos and fish eagles, then continue to an optional Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes at extra cost. If you prefer adventure, you can also visit Hell's Gate National Park for cycling and hiking among dramatic cliffs and geothermal features at extra cost. Day 3

After breakfast, begin the drive south toward Amboseli National Park, passing through changing landscapes and local towns along the way. Arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon and check in to your safari camp or lodge with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, head out for an evening game drive across the open plains and swamp areas where large elephant herds roam freely. You may also encounter lions, hyenas, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife. As the sun sets beneath Kilimanjaro, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli, one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. Begin with an early sunrise game drive for the best chance of seeing Mount Kilimanjaro clearly before clouds gather later in the day.
