Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a representative from Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Arusha, known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit, is a vibrant city surrounded by stunning landscapes and serves as the perfect starting point for your unforgettable wildlife experience.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive as you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and many other animals in their natural habitat.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park before continuing your wildlife viewing adventure. In the late afternoon, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Ngare lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular! It is famous for its vast open grasslands, allowing excellent wildlife sightings. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you come, you will witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world when vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move through the area in search of water and fresh grass. You will have a picnic lunch and overnight at Tukaone weavers camp.

Day 4

This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti, The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience. After lunch and game drive in the evening you will transfer at Tukaone weavers camp for a dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way, Steep volcanic walls conceal Ngorongoro Crater, a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands. After an entire afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation for a dinner and overnight stay at ngorongoro safari lodge.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your final game drive. Famous for its beautiful scenery, diverse wildlife, large troops of baboons, elephants, and tree-climbing lions, the park offers a wonderful conclusion to your safari adventure. You will also enjoy views of the alkaline lake, home to flamingos and many other bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
