After exploring Stone Town, you will continue to one of Zanzibar’s famous spice farms where you will discover why the island is known as the “Spice Island.” You will see, smell, and taste tropical spices and fruits including cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, black pepper, and nutmeg while learning about their traditional uses and importance in Zanzibar’s history. After the excursion, you will return to Tembo Hotel for overnight stay.

Later, you will continue to Prison Island where you will learn about the island’s historical significance and visit the giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over a century old.
