Day 2

Wake up to the sounds of the African wilderness and enjoy an early breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive across the vast plains of Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The cool morning vibes provide excellent opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas as they complete their nightly activities, while herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelope species begin their day.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch before heading out again in the afternoon to further explore the conservancy. Ol Pejeta is home to one of East Africa’s largest populations of black rhinos and offers exceptional wildlife viewing throughout the year. During your exploration, you may also visit the conservancy’s chimpanzee sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzee can be seen in a protected environment.

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife before returning to your lodge. Spend the evening reflecting on the day’s memorable encounters over dinner.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Ol Pejeta Conservancy and begin your journey south through Kenya’s scenic countryside toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills, rural landscapes, and local communities before arriving at your lodge in time for Lunch.

An afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. Renowned for its thriving rhino population, the park offers excellent opportunities to spot both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and waterbucks. The lake also attracts an abundance of birdlife depending on the season, flocks of flamingos that add vibrant color to the shoreline.

As you explore the park’s diverse habitats, keep your camera ready for spectacular wildlife sightings and panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Nakuru.

Day 4

Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and depart Lake Nakuru National Park for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley with scenic views of escarpments and traditional Kenyan homesteads along the way. You may have brief stopovers for photography before continuing toward the Mara region.

Arriving at your lodge in time for lunch, check in and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The reserve is known for its vast open savannahs and incredible concentration of wildlife. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, and various antelope species within the first hour of the adventure.

As the sun sets over the golden plains, return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay, marking the beginning of your Maasai Mara experience.

Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. The reserve offers some of the best wildlife viewing in Africa, with high chances of encountering the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

The open plains make wildlife spotting easier, and you may witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras grazing alongside predators such as lions and hyenas. The Mara River areas are also rich in animal activity, especially hippos and crocodiles. Your experienced guide will help track wildlife and position you for the best sightings and photography opportunities.

If traveling during the migration season, you may also witness the dramatic crossing of wildebeests and zebras as they move between the Serengeti and Maasai Mara ecosystems. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Today allows deeper exploration of areas not covered on the previous day, increasing your chances of spotting elusive wildlife such as leopards resting in trees or rhinos in more secluded parts of the reserve.

You may also choose optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari at sunrise, offering breathtaking aerial views of the savannah followed by a bush breakfast. Alternatively, a visit to a Maasai village can be arranged, where you will learn about the traditional lifestyle, culture, and customs of the Maasai people.

The day continues with game viewing in the afternoon before returning to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
