Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be welcomed by your driver-guide and begin your journey to Samburu National Reserve, located in northern Kenya. The drive covers approximately 330–355 km and takes about 5–6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Travel through the scenic central highlands of Kenya, passing through Thika, Karatina, Nanyuki, and Isiolo before continuing to Samburu, en route and enjoy beautiful views of the countryside along the way.
Arrive at the reserve in the late afternoon, check in at your lodge, and spend the rest of the evening relaxing as you prepare for the safari adventures ahead. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at your selected lodge or camp.

Day 2
Explore Samburu National Park
Explore Samburu National Park
Depart for an early morning game drive in search of the Samburu "Big Five" in this reserve. Its breathtaking panorama, flora, and fauna are unique and endemic to Kenya’s Northern hemisphere, and return for a late breakfast. After breakfast, head out to the nearby Samburu cultural village for a one-hour tour of this tribe with a very rich tradition.
The Samburu people's dress consists of a striking red cloth wrapped around like a skirt (called a shukka) and a white sash. This is enhanced with many colorful beaded necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Both men and women wear jewelry although only women make it. The Samburu also paint their faces using striking patterns to accentuate their facial features.
Then, spend the middle of the day relaxing just like the animals do. You can read your favorite book or write your journal, and head out again at 16:00 as the day begins to cool. Spot the Samburu Special Five before retiring back to your accommodation late in the evening.

Day 3
Samburu to Ol Pejeta

After a leisurely breakfast, you will drive towards Samburu, arriving at Ol Pejeta camp in good time for lunch.
After lunch, get to familiarize yourself with the camp, which has a waterhole adjacent to the bar area.
Embark on an afternoon game drive, starting at the chimpanzee sanctuary and later visiting this park known for the largest concentration of white and black rhinos. Other animals found here include giraffes, gazelles, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and many others, which return at sunset.
Ol Pejeta is also the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to two of the world's last remaining Northern white rhinos. It is the only place in Kenya where chimpanzees can be seen, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market.

After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy and drive towards Lake Bogoria National Reserve through the scenic central Kenya highlands and the Great Rift Valley. En route, enjoy views of the countryside and stop for lunch along the way. Continue to Lake Bogoria, arriving in the afternoon. Check in at the lodge and later explore the reserve, famous for its hot springs, geysers and spectacular scenery. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5

After breakfast, spend a full day exploring Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Begin with a morning game drive through the reserve, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley and looking out for wildlife such as zebras, impalas, gazelles, buffaloes and other wildlife.
Continue to the shores of Lake Bogoria, famous for its large populations of flamingos, especially when water conditions are favorable. Visit the spectacular hot springs and geysers, where you can observe steam rising from the geothermal areas.
Enjoy a picnic lunch within or around the reserve before continuing with an afternoon exploration. Take time to appreciate the lake, surrounding escarpments and diverse birdlife. The afternoon can also include photography and a nature walk in suitable areas.
Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, followed by dinner and overnight.

Lake Bogoria to Lake Naivasha

Depart for Lake Naivasha after breakfast, which lies southeast of Lake Nakuru. It is a freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley, with the highest elevation of 1,884 meters.
You will arrive in good time for lunch and thereafter embark in the afternoon for a boat ride and a walking excursion at Lake Naivasha Game Sanctuary.
Boat rides on Lake Naivasha are refreshing experiences that take you on the breezy lake waters as you explore the diverse birdlife and wildlife on the lake and its surroundings. You will have a brief nature walk in the sanctuary, which is a great opportunity to appreciate the nature at the sanctuary. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Depart Lake Naivasha through the Rift Valley floor and make a short stop in Narok town, also known as the capital city of the Maasai people. Continue driving southward to the home of the Maasai people, stopping for lunch on-route at Tepesua Maasai village, known for championing Maasai women’s health and education.
Arrive and be welcomed by traditional Maasai warrior songs and dances. After lunch, your host will explain the details of Maasai warrior training. Take a walk to the community village founded to alleviate the poverty of Maasai widows, who traditionally are not allowed to inherit property.
The village offers support, safety, and economic growth through the Tepesua Widows Income Project. Spend the evening around a campfire and learn more about their age-old culture and traditions as you share stories with Maasai warriors into the night.

After a leisurely breakfast, you will visit a local school and learn the alphabet in Swahili and Maasai languages before driving through the Rift Valley floor to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in good time. Take a hot shower in a nice modern room (40 minutes from the village), then have lunch. Embark on your first game drive in this famous reserve in search of the Big Five and other animals that call this place home before returning to the lodge at sunset
The Masai Mara ecosystem, which means ''spotted'' in the Maa language, comprises the famous reserve, community conservancies, group ranches, and many Maasai villages. The reserve expanse of gently rolling grassland dotted with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebras and wildebeest.

This is a full day spent game viewing across the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous "Eighth Wonder of the Animal World". The Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, cheetahs and lions. It also has numerous elephants and virtually every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your lunch today is a picnic under a flat-top acacia tree on the savannah, overlooking grazing animals. Continue with the game viewing en route to your camp, arriving in the late afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500 square kilometers.

Day 10
Masai Mara to Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, pack up and drive back to Nairobi. En route, you will have a scheduled visit (optional) to a Maasai village for a cultural experience, where you'll learn more about the community that has co-existed with the Mara wildlife for centuries.
You'll have lunch the African way at one of the hotels in Narok town. Afterwards, you will continue with the journey to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon. You'll be dropped off at the airport to mark the end of your safari.
