Nairobi to Masai Mara – Afternoon Game Drive

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint to admire the spectacular escarpment and landscapes below. Continue to the Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at Miti Mingi Eco Camp. After check-in and some relaxation, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive across the reserve’s vast savannah. The Masai Mara is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and numerous antelope species. Your guide will help track animals while sharing insights about the reserve’s unique ecosystem. As the sun sets over the plains, return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi

Start the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active and the cool temperatures provide ideal viewing conditions. Watch the reserve come alive as predators finish their nightly hunts and herbivores begin grazing across the open plains. This is an excellent opportunity to spot wildlife you may have missed on the previous day and capture stunning photographs of the Mara’s landscapes. Return to camp for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi.
