Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. This vibrant city sits at the base of Mount Meru and is known as the gateway to northern Tanzania safaris.
The rest of the day is at leisure to recover from your journey, relax at the hotel, and prepare for the adventure ahead. Your guide will brief you on the safari program, routes, and expectations for the coming days. Overnight stay in Arusha.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through rural landscapes and Maasai villages. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife concentration along the Tarangire River.
Enjoy a full-day game drive where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. The park’s river system attracts wildlife year-round, making it one of the best hidden gems in Tanzania.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park surrounded by nature. Later, continue your drive and exit the park for overnight stay in Karatu.

After breakfast, begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands with breathtaking scenery along the way.
Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy en-route game viewing as the vast plains open up before you. The central Serengeti is rich in wildlife and is part of the Great Migration route, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the ecosystem.
Expect sightings of lions, elephants, cheetahs, hyenas, and many herbivores. Arrive at your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

The crater floor offers excellent chances to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, along with lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and flamingos around the lake.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by breathtaking views. In the evening, ascend and transfer to Karatu for overnight stay.

Today you will visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Africa. Learn how they hunt, gather food, and live entirely off nature without modern tools or possessions.
You will also visit the Datoga community, known for their blacksmith skills and traditional craftsmanship. This cultural experience offers deep insight into ancient ways of life still preserved today.
After the experience, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an unforgettable safari adventure.
