Enjoy an early morning pick-up followed by a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Located within the Great Rift Valley, just south of Lake Bogoria and straddling the equator, Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.
The alkaline lake is internationally renowned for its vast flocks of flamingos, which often gather along the shoreline in breathtaking numbers, creating a striking pink horizon. Beyond birdlife, the park is also an important rhino sanctuary, home to significant populations of both black and white rhinos, along with a wide variety of other wildlife.
You will arrive at the park in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife of this iconic reserve.

Day 2
Maasai Mara

Depart early in the morning and travel to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the last remaining ecosystems where wildlife thrives in vast numbers and largely undisturbed natural habitats. As the northern extension of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is world-famous for its dramatic seasonal migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains, closely followed by predators.
You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to begin exploring the reserve’s rich wildlife and expansive savannah landscapes.

Day 3-4

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the reserve, with a packed lunch provided to maximize your time in the bush. The area is particularly renowned for its impressive black-maned lions, abundant resident wildlife, and the strong possibility of spotting the Big Five within a single morning game drive.
Cheetahs are frequently seen across the open plains, and in some cases, they may rest in the shade of safari vehicles during the heat of the day. The reserve is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with nearly 500 recorded species. These include numerous birds of prey such as eagles, hawks, and falcons, several species of vultures and storks, bustards including the kori bustard—the heaviest flying bird in the world—and a variety of colorful sunbirds.

Day 5

On this day, you will transfer from the Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park via the Isebania border. While the journey takes most of the day, it offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. You will enjoy a morning game drive in the Masai Mara before crossing the border, followed by an afternoon game drive upon entering the Serengeti.
In the late afternoon, continue on a scenic game drive en route to your tented camp.

Day 6-7

Great Migration safari in Serengeti
Morning and afternoon game drive along the Mara river, with early departure. The great migration will be in this area from late July to mid-October, crossing the famous Mara river to Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. You will have a high opportunity to see them crossing while the crocodiles in the river attack them.
The North Serengeti also has many big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos, and it is another good place to see the endangered black rhino. All meals and overnight will be at the camp.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Central Serengeti, renowned for its high concentration of big cats and predators. Enjoy game drives en route as you traverse the vast plains, with continued wildlife viewing throughout the day and into the evening within the Serengeti.

After breakfast, depart the lodge and drive to the crater for another exciting day of game viewing. Highlights include the rare spotted black rhino, a wide variety of big game, and the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor. After the game drive, continue to your lodge in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10
Lake Manyara or Tarangire
Lake Manyara or Tarangire
After breakfast, depart and drive across the Great Rift Valley to either Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its lush groundwater forest, dominated by giant fig and mahogany trees that provide habitat for baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also famous for its rich birdlife, large herds of buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, a resident hippo pool, tree-climbing lions, and flamingos along the lakeshore. Game drives are conducted along the lake’s edge, offering beautiful scenery with wildlife set against the shimmering water and open plains.
Alternatively, Tarangire National Park offers a contrasting landscape of rolling savannah, riverine woodlands, and iconic baobab trees. The park is known for its large elephant herds, diverse wildlife, and excellent predator sightings, especially along the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year-round.
In the afternoon, you will transfer to Arusha.
