Day 2
Mara River
Mara River
Begin your day early with a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. The cool hours of dawn are ideal for spotting predators such as lions returning from a night hunt, leopards resting in trees, and hyenas roaming the plains.
Return to camp for a hot lunch and enjoy some leisure time. You may relax at camp, enjoy the swimming pool, or simply take in the sounds of the African wilderness whilst enjoying a massage.
In the afternoon, head out again for another game drive focusing on the Mara River areas. Depending on the herd movement, you may witness dramatic river crossings, where wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters.
Alternatively, choose a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch, maximizing your chances of following the migration herds across different locations.
Expect to see elephants bathing near the riverbanks, hippos in pools, crocodiles lying in wait, and a wide range of birdlife including fish eagles, herons, and kingfishers.

You may also encounter large elephant families, giraffes gracefully moving through acacia woodlands, and buffalo herds grazing in the grasslands. The region is also home to smaller but fascinating wildlife such as jackals, servals, baboons, and warthogs.
