Depart Nairobi at 6:00 AM for a scenic drive north through Kenya’s central highlands toward the renowned Ol Pejeta Conservancy. The journey takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, with beautiful views of tea and coffee plantations and the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya (weather permitting). Arrive before lunch in time to relax and begin your first exciting game drive in one of Kenya’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuaries.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to the Big Five, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. It also hosts rescued chimpanzees and a wide variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs roaming freely across open savannah plains.
Enjoy a guided afternoon game drive with chances to spot rare species and learn about pioneering conservation efforts. Later, settle into your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
