Day 1

Morning: Your driver-guide picks you up in the morning from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. We drive southwest with a brief leg-stretcher stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe.

Afternoon: Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for a late lunch at your lodge. Enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to view massive pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and elephants bathing along the banks.

Evening: Enjoy a scenic sunset drive back to your lodge for dinner.

Day 2

Morning: An early sunrise game drive across the Kasenyi Plains to search for lions, leopards, hyenas, and large herds of Ugandan kobs.

Afternoon: Check out and drive south through the Ishasha Sector, keeping your eyes glued to the giant fig trees to spot the famous tree-climbing lions. After a picnic lunch, we continue up into the cooler, mist-shrouded mountains of Bwindi

Evening: Arrive at your lodge bordering the ancient rainforest. Rest early to prepare your body for tomorrow's trek.

Day 3

The Ultimate Mountain Gorilla Trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning: Fuel up with an early breakfast and grab your packed lunch. Report to the park headquarters for a safety briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and head into the thick jungle.

The trek can take 2 to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas slept, but looking into the eyes of a Giant Silverback for one full hour is a life-changing reward.

Afternoon: Hike back out of the forest, receive your official gorilla trekking graduation certificate, and meet your guide. We take a scenic 2-hour drive out of the mountains down to Lake Bunyonyi, Africa's second-deepest lake

Evening: Check into your lakeside resort and relax your tired muscles with stunning views of the 29 islands.

Day 4

Lake Bunyonyi Island Exploration and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Morning: Wake up to the beautiful mist over the lake (Bunyonyi means "place of many little birds"), enjoy your breakfast. Optionally, board a traditional motorized dugout canoe to explore the historic islands, including Punishment Island and Sharp's Island, learning about their fascinating local folklore.
After the boat cruise, head straight to the car and set off for Lake Mburo National Park. Lunch enroute will be organized by our experienced guide.

Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and relax. Late in the evening, embark on an evening game drive in Uganda's most beautiful savannah national park in search for giraffes, more buffalos, leopards, zebras and many more.

Return to the lodge for dinner and sleep over.

Morning: Enjoy a relaxed breakfast overlooking the lake before hitting the road northwards through Mbarara town.

Afternoon: Enjoy a local buffet lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre to taste authentic Western Ugandan dishes (like Matooke and Eshabwe).

Evening: A final stop at the Equator for any last-minute souvenir shopping before arriving back in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport by evening for your departure or checkin to your hotel.
