After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable full-day game drive. The journey to the crater floor takes you through lush montane forests rich in birdlife and scenic beauty before opening onto one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife havens. Covering approximately 260 square kilometers, the crater floor boasts an incredible diversity of habitats, including open savannah, acacia woodlands, wetlands, and a permanent soda lake, supporting an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. Keep watch for large herds of grazing animals, as well as lions, hyenas, jackals, and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site on the crater floor before continuing your exploration.
