Pick-Up from Kigali & Transfer to Akagera National Park

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali. Meet your professional guide and depart for Akagera National Park, Rwanda's only savannah national park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge before heading out in the afternoon for a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Ihema, one of Rwanda's largest lakes. The cruise offers excellent opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, waterbirds, and other wildlife along the shoreline.

Game Drive in Akagera National Park & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive through the northern sector of Akagera National Park. Explore the park's diverse landscapes while searching for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species. With a bit of luck, you may also encounter lions and rhinos.

Following the game drive, depart for Volcanoes National Park, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda's rolling hills along the way. Upon arrival, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner at your lodge.

Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers before setting off on your unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the rainforest in search of one of the habituated gorilla families. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village for an immersive cultural experience, where you'll learn about traditional Rwandan culture, local customs, and conservation efforts.
