Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your safari begins at 7:00 am from City Market in central Nairobi, our group departure point. Guests are welcome to make their own way to City Market from their hotel or the airport — or we'll be glad to help arrange your transfer for an additional cost, just let us know in advance. From there, set off southwest towards the world-famous Maasai Mara, with a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way. Arrive at Mara Ntulele in time for lunch and check-in, then head out on an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, giraffes and the great herds that roam the reserve. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara game drive

After breakfast, set out for a full day exploring the heart of the Maasai Mara — prime territory for big cats and, in season, the spectacular Great Migration. Spend the day tracking lions, cheetahs and leopards, watching for dramatic wildebeest river crossings and taking in the endless plains alive with zebra, antelope and birdlife. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your adventure, returning to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you can experience the rich culture, customs and warm hospitality of the local community. Afterwards, depart the Mara and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards Lake Nakuru. Arrive at Buraha Zenoni at around 2:00 pm for lunch and check-in, with the rest of the day at leisure to relax, unwind or enjoy a swim at the lodge.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Set out on an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park from 6:30 am — a celebrated rhino sanctuary, home to both black and white rhino, Rothschild's giraffe, lions and, seasonally, flamingos along the lakeshore. Exit the park at around 11:00 am and begin the scenic drive south towards Amboseli, stopping for lunch at Naivasha en route. Arrive in Amboseli at around 6:00 pm and check in at Manjaro Camp, with time to relax before dinner and overnight.

Amboseli Game Drives

After breakfast, spend a full day exploring Amboseli, famed for its great herds of elephants set against the snow-capped backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal elephants, buffalo, lions, cheetahs and abundant birdlife around the park's marshes and swamps. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy a final morning game drive as Amboseli wakes in the soft early light, then return to camp for breakfast. Afterwards, begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at Nairobi's city centre (CBD) or at a hotel in the Westlands area, where the safari ends. Guests requiring onward transfer to the airport or another location are welcome to arrange this themselves, or we'll be glad to help organise it for an additional cost.
