Day 1

Pick up from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for a safari briefing before departing to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, Maasai villages, and open plains before arriving at one of Tanzania's most wildlife-rich national parks.

Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year. Enjoy an exciting full-day game drive while searching for lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and numerous bird species.

Following a picnic lunch inside the park, continue exploring the diverse habitats before driving to Karatu for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Following an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater supports an incredible concentration of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhinoceros, along with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and countless bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool while taking in the breathtaking surroundings. Continue your afternoon game drive before ascending the crater walls and returning to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park famous for its lush groundwater forests, alkaline lake, and dramatic backdrop formed by the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Enjoy a morning game drive through the park, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, baboons, blue monkeys, and, with a bit of luck, the park's famous tree-climbing lions. The lake also attracts thousands of flamingos and numerous other water birds, creating spectacular photographic opportunities.
